Who's who
The following organisational roles support our team of dedicated friends and volunteers.
Patrons
The Trust Patrons are David Shepherd, the artist and one of the best known conservationists in the UK; David Bellamy, a key figure in raising the profile of environmental issues throughout the world; Jonathon Porritt, environmentalist and latterly a government advisor on sustainable development; and Brian Jackman, a writer, journalist and conservationist based in Dorset.
Trustees
A board of Trustees, made up of tireless volunteers, manages the Trust. Robin Page, well known author and countryman is Chairman of the Trust with Chris Knights, Norfolk farmer and internationally renowned wildlife photographer, as his Vice-Chairman. The other Trustees are Ken Gifford (Treasurer), Zac Goldsmith, Robert Burton, Jane Wallace, Jill Barklem, Tilly Smith,
Elizabeth Ranelagh and Andrew West.
Staff
The day to day running of the Trust is managed by a small team of part-time
staff and include: Isla Dennis (Administration Director), John Terry
(Conservation & Wildlife Advisor), Jane Downey (Finance
Manager), Rachael Page (Friends & Administration Assistant), Laure Tordjmann (Marketing
Manager), Sarah Thomas (Fundraiser), Catriona Hall (Events and Education
Officer) and Martin Davies (Consultant on Agricultural and Land/Property
matters). |
