Harold's Grove is a remarkable eight acre wood in Essex, dating back 10,000 years. Once owned by King Harold of England, it was part of a great swathe of woodland of which Epping Forest is the largest surviving remnant. The volunteer support group is working to ensure the future conservation management of the wood.
